Gallery of Verizon’s Entire 4G LTE Device Lineup

The Verizon 4G LTE event is over and here is the entire lineup of devices.  Two tablets, 4 smartphones, 2 netbooks and a couple of modems all make up this impressive set.  All of the smartphones have 4.3″ screens, will have Skype video chatting and will be available throughout the first half of this year.  We kept thinking that the Thunderbolt would be a late January device, but there was no mention of that this afternoon.

Motorola will release the DROID BIONIC, LG has the Revolution, HTC has the Thunderbolt and Samsung can’t seem to figure out a name for theirs, but we know it’s the SCH-I520.

Check out the entire lineup after the break.

  • Jawshua

Once again, most excited about the Bionic. But I think I’ll always stick with anything Motorola Droid.

  • ots

They are making us wait for the really good stuff. I was hoping for all the “dream ” specs you all were. Att definitely got a better phone but not lte. Vzw has the network but not the phone. That lg optimus. Looks to be the sweetest handset

  • Buckgrad

    Docking. That’s wtf.

Yes, the Bionic and Atrix are similar, but the Atirix has those good docking features, which Moto SHOULD make available on the Bionic for their loyal Droid customers who basically put them back in business over the last year and a half. More RAM would be nice as well. Very disappointing…staying with my X until someting truly better comes along.

I’m guessing there was no mention of the HTC Merge on this event…any speculation, buzz or rumors on what will happen to it or if it will even come out?

  • Liamax1

Waoo … What a perfect set of young people .. it is perfect for me because I am a business .. I improved my business more .. This is why I am a complete fan blog .. this from. Do I get a lot of things.

Any of above phones global ready? That will be my choice next time…..

  • Phaise

So the selection for lte phones is going to be the same phone made slightly different by the manufacturers. Where is the love fr the people who want a physical keyboard, or what if not everyone thinks 4.3 is the ideal screen size, man I’m biked nw.

  • AkshonYeah

    Why no 4G slider(s), Verizon? :(

  • Fred

i just jizzed in my pants after looking at those pics above

  • Anonymous

dissapointed with the lack of hardware keyboards at this ces

  • Anonymous

    Bionic and Revolution,def my favorites

  • Coldcrussh

a dedicated camera button would be nice =/

  • Wpersampieri

I’m confused as to why these devices aren’t even planning to ship with 2.3, something that I believe the Nexus S will have had for a couple months by the time these ship… That’s actually my main hesitation for not jumping the iTouch ship yet, I’m a little put off by the lack of guaranteed updates to android phones… Also, can someone release a phone that doesn’t have a 4.3″ screen? I would like my phone to make it through the day without needing a charge, something I have heard the Evo has some trouble with. 4G will probably be something I don’t even bother throwing more money at (if 4G costs $10, that would make the data plan on the phone $40, which is crazy!) Because of all that, I would like someone to talk some sense back into me and remind me why I shouldn’t wait for the Verizon i*hone, which I’m betting is real…

  • Uncle paul

The LG revolution (If its indeed the opty 2x.) offering to me looks to be the best out the bunch to me..

Bionic has blur and locked bootloader,.

    Thunderbolt is SINGLE core..

as much as I dont like moto, if I had to choose one it would def be the Bionic.

  • Detailphreak

There goes any hope of continued Droid X development.

  • Mike

Why is every single phone 4.3″ and keyboardless? I want a 4″ slider replacement for my OG Droid that has a dual core processor, 1 gb of RAM, ff camera, 4g, and hdmi out. is that too much to ask? Every phone coming out is just a copy of the Evo. I thought Android let you choose the kind of phone you wanted, but it seems phones with physical keyboards are now only low to mid range in specs anymore.

    • DBK

Well, there is still the Merge……

      • Mike

Nope Merge got cancelled and it wasn’t dual core anyways.

        • DBK

          Really? Well that sucks…. -_-

    • Anonymous

Your description is also exactly what im looking for along with having NO Bing

      • Mike

        Well that’s a given.

        • Anonymous

          and global capabilities….

  • SF

Man you people wine wayyy too much be glad these phone have at least a 1 Ghz processor and a front facing camera thats a lot of you have been wining about! and 4G…and hey i think its another carriers time to have its spotlight whit Android..first it was T-Mo with the G1, then Verizon with the Droid, then Sprint with the EVO and so i guess its AT&Ts time with the Atrix….hey us Verizon users will have are spotlight again don’t worry!

    • Bigrob60

Yes we will. That will be when the xoom drops. Nothing like a small pullback to put forward a bigger push

  • Rachel

I want the Droid Bionic now! I hope this phone is ready sooner then the begining of Q2.

    • SamuriHL

Right there with you on that!

  • One_ina_milli

The samsungs super amoled plus or qhd? What’s better

  • SamuriHL

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I’m frustrated. The Thunderbolt is a waste, IMO. The BIONIC is what I want. I have a Droid 1, purchased the very morning they were released. I love it, but, after 13 months, it’s showing its age. Anyone who thinks the Thunderbolt is going to hold up well for _20 months_ on a 2 year contract now (remember, no more annual upgrades) is kidding themselves. Single core phones 20 months from now will seem as useful as a “feature phone” seems to us now. I’m frustrated, however, because “first half of 2011″ is NOT what I wanted to hear! I’ve been waiting to upgrade specifically because I want BIONIC. And I want it sooner, not later!!!!

  • Ckochinsky125

too bad for verizon all of these devices are being launched before verizon on other carriers. What a shame looks like they are starting to only care about the iphone already and are putting android on the back burner. I mean come on nothing released until march? yet the EVO which is the damn near identical phone was released months ago. Lame

    • Bigrob60

I was expecting March as the earliest date.

  • Anonymous

I wouldn’t jump ship just yet, verizon might have something up their sleeves….

  • Kierra

    Spec whores…. :)

  • Droid_Dizzy

Feel like Verizon got snubbed with the Droid BIONIC its missing alot of cool features the ATRIX has and will they both get the same accessories?

  • Anonymous

As a Verizon customer with a Droid X, I didn’t see any phones that would make me jump ship to one of these new phones. The only thing that was interesting to me personally was the Xoom, which looks awesome!

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=797475274 Nadeem Najib Kizi

I have the DX too and .. my thoughts are exactly like yours. Only thing is ..the thunderbolt gets a 32 preinstalled SD card which is nice – but still not worth switching. Besides, the phone looks so ugly from the back.

  • techy2011

so when HTC advertised Thunderbolt as “it is not your dream phone, it is the phone after that”. I take it that they were joking

  • johnnstl

I have a question – all this talk of 4G and new devices blah blah blah – how about some pricing on the plans – and will those of us with time left on contract be offered early upgrade?

  • http://www.facebook.com/twpayne Wil Payne

I’m waiting for my Droid 3, Wifi XOOM, and HTC to release something that isn’t obsolete upon arrival like the BlunderDolt.

And for Blur to go away. If the LG Revolution is running stock… that would be nice.
Why hasn’t Google prepped a dev tablet for Honeycomb?

  • Hugapunk

I agree, I am very disappointed by Verizon. The LG revolution looks like a home run, but it seems that the unnamed Samsung device, and the Thunderbolt will not have dual core processors, which will be a necessity for me to upgrade/purchase outright. I am also extremely puzzled as to why Verizon would choose to put out these Android devices after the “Alleged” launch of the VZW iPhone. It will be much more difficult to sell a Verizon EVO, and a fascinate with a front facing camera and 4G, when the iPhone drops. Especially with AT&T finally having an Android device that can trump any of VZW’s with the new moto phone they have. I am definitely disappointed and frustrated with Verizon right now. I work in the cell phone industry and the only thing the majority of consumers wanted to know was, when these phones will be released and how much they will cost, and the cost of the 4G service, all of which remain unanswered. Fail VZW, Fail.

    • Uncle paul

yup, the LG looks NICE, they really came out of nowhere to do it right.

    • Jawshua

Yeah I agree, no cost named on the phones and how much a 4G data package will cost really sucks!

  • Anonymous

I was hoping the merge would’ve been released with LTE.

  • Blahshed

    Where is the mofo merge????

    • Ckochinsky125

seriously verizon laid a big egg on this phone i mean atleast announce pricing for plans if you arent going to announce release dates

  • Andrew Hewitt

Disappointed. It’s so annoying how you can only have one good feature in a phone, like either 4G, dual-core, front facing camera, or gingerbread. At most you can only have like 2 of those features. Not to mention none of them have a keyboard…

Basically, I guess I’ll be sticking with my Droid X for the first half of 2011.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1840612817 Emanuel Jara

well the bionic has 4g, dual core, front facing, 8mp and 1080p its a beast but blur just murdered it :(

      • DBK

But the new version of Blur that is has actually makes it likable. It’s a doable sacrifice.

      • Jesse

Bionic would have been perfect if it had no Blur, 1GB RAM, and at least a 1.3 mp ffc

      • Dale

I wouldn’t worry about blur. I am sure Cyanogen will have a mod to remove it as soon as it is announced.

    • http://twitter.com/NovembersDirge The Observer

I saw the LG running stock Android and i thought, “Finally!!! Vanilla Android returns to VZW!” But then i read that it lacks dual core, and i had to cross it off the list of phones to replace my DX with.

If i was having problems with my DX then i’d have been really disappointed, but since i’m running ApeX 1.3 and overclocked it to 1.3 gHz i’m quite content to stick with my DX until the next wave of 4G phones are announced/released for Big Red.

  • boski

    no physical keyboards

    • boski

      on the phones atleast

  • Sara

I’ll take whichever one comes out FIRST. Why don’t we have any release dates?! :(

    • Anonymous

htc thunderbolt. early march. can you read?

  • CrashVideo

… guess I’m the only person left who finds 4.3″ screens to be slightly unpocketable …

    • palomosan

      probably you’re the only one.

    • SF

that makes 2 of us. for me 4″ is good enough..sticking with my Fascinate.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_I7J4Z55BLI6W3OMFGRZZFNVLQA John

..yeah, i think your right. xD

    • Anonymous

4″ screens are as big as I want to go

      • Bigrob60

ya. But since there all gonna be 4.3 I guess I’ll have to go that big.

    • Bigrob60

Not at all. That’s why I didn’t early upgrade to the DX.

  • Murphy

    I just had a droidgasm

  • DBK

    I’ll take a XOOM, easy on the 3G/4G…..uh….I’ll take a Bionic with a side of LP…..uh…and I’ll take a Revolution, super-sized…. :P

    • Bigrob60

      Droid Does weight gain. :]

  • Anonymous

good idea htc. don’t put a dual core in the thunderbolt – everyone will buy it now. Samsung, lg, and moto are just stupid with their dual cores – who needs one. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING HTC

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_I7J4Z55BLI6W3OMFGRZZFNVLQA John

i dont see the big deal with dual core, its just a phone, not a laptop~

      • Anonymous

so you don’t want gingerbread, or any good games? ok. then i understand. (no i don’t)

        • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_I7J4Z55BLI6W3OMFGRZZFNVLQA John

all games run perfectly fine on my single core incredible, i dont see why they wouldnt on a thunderbolt.

          • DBK

            He said GOOD games’…….

      • DBK

The Atrix wants a word with you….

        • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1840612817 Emanuel Jara

haha i really laughed out loud for this one

          • DBK

            I’m here all night. :)

Hehe, that was a jab at his “just a phone, not a laptop” remark. Now a days, they’re basically one and the same. And besides, if they are “just phones” to him, why even be a member of this site?

      • palomosan

I guess right now it might not look important but I’m pretty sure later down the line it will be, specially with all the games, apps and everything they’re sticking to smartphones this days.

By the way, I’m very disappointed at HTC, the Thunderbolt it only has a 1ghz processor, at leas bump it to 1.2ghz, just saying.

Guys, I think the LG Revolution is running Stock Android, just saw some pictures.

      • NewsWorthy

Then you probably don’t really need a smartphone either. You would probably be ok with a really good feature phone. There are others like myself, who do require quite a bit more processing power. If I can avoid carrying around a lappie everywhere I go, I’m a happy man. Therefore, I need all the cores I can get.
        ~ Slim ~

    • http://twitter.com/mikeszekely Mike Szekely

I’m with you. 4G and a larger screen are nice, but I’ve already got a phone with a 1GHz Snapdragon. Granted, the Incredible is still plenty fast, but with faster phones and dual-core phones on the horizon the Thunderbolt’s looking kind of mid-range.

    • Anonymous

The average person doesn’t know or care about dual cores.
Believe it or not us nerds are a small population consumer wise. Most people will buy the best looking phone and htc always does that better than anyone else

  • http://www.facebook.com/mobrienjr Michael OBrien

am I the only one that isnt really that impressed…I aint going to lie I would take a number of those devices, but after what AT&T did and the devices that they threw out there wouldnt you think that Verizon, the one who really started the whole ANDROID love, come out and trump AT&T. I would of hoped so, but it doesnt look it

    • DBK

The Bionic is the only phone there that would give A*&T’s Atrix a run for it’s money. The rest just seems to cater more to the new 4G network rather than noteworthy hardware.

    • http://twitter.com/Payaso_113 Freddy

      I feel the same way.

    • Anonymous

Verizon has historically had the worst handsets available. It’s the Network™

      • Anonymous

Yep, for those of you who don’t remember, up until about 2 years ago Verizon had the worst handsets of all the carriers.

        • Anonymous

          LG Voyager was awesome…

          • Bigrob60

I am currently using it. The sales rep told me it was the I*hone killer. My contract ended in november. Was just waiting until CES to decide on a new phone. Looks like it might be the Bionic. The LG Revolution is not Tegra 2, not sold on HTC(also not tegra 2) & to hell w/ samsung. What happened to the Etna? Will that be tomorrow?

          • Anonymous

Just remember sign a 1 year contract(or none), or be stuck in the same situation for another 2 years.

          • Bigrob60

Oh ya. Missed out on Droid 1 b/c of 2yr. Nowadays phones are advancing so fast 2yrs and your almost outdated. But more importantly 2ys is just too long to be stuck under a contract. At least for me now. :]

          • The350zWolf

            Etna=Bionic

          • Bigrob60

Ahh ok. I missed that one.

          • Mr. Joe

I’m pretty sure the Revolution has Tegra 2.

          • Bigrob60

I really hope so. I’ve been reading conflicting reports. If it does have it I think it will be LG for the third time in a row. Thanks.

You’re high. Which is obvious by the name “RedskinsNation”

          • DBK

If he’s high, your in space……

      • Anonymous

Not since their embrace of android and the birth of ‘droid!’. Since then, they have had considerably more and better handsets than any other carrier.

    • Randy Bullard

I couldn’t agree more. I was sorely disappointed today both in that AT&T appeared to announced as good or better Android phones, and that Verizon didn’t have some specific and near-term launch dates. I was anticipating that HTC and Verizon would announce a firm date on Thunderbolt, likely at the end of the month. No such thinking, and now we’re all left guessing.

I for one am completely open to switching to AT&T if they end up getting one of the slick next generation Android phones first. 4G (even if it’s not LTE), 4.3″ screen and dual-core processor… whichever between AT&T and Verizon get it first, I’m there.
