OG Droid owner here. Love my phone but am SO bored and feel like it’s getting long in the tooth. Was really hoping for the bionic but have some concerns about the locked bootloader and the 512 RAM, even if it’s DDR2. TBolt looked intrigueing but single core and that DAMN battery. Don’t want to have a butt on my phone that looks like JLo’s a$$. It looks good on her but not my phone. That being said, the specs on the Samsung Galaxy S2 look quite interesting to me. Fortunately, (and unfortunately) my NE2 isn’t up until August so I don’t have to make any hasty decisions. I think by then, we will have MANY options from all of the mfgs. So, I say, bring ‘em on and let the best one win!!

I agree with everything in your post, but unfortunately HTC needs to show me they aren't going to flip off consumers again like they did with the G2. Thats the only time they've implemented something to completely lock down every angle of the phone, and if they do it again, I won't buy from them. We do have root access etc now, but when it first came out Tmo and HTC basically said the rooting crowd means nothing to them in a press release.

I think there will be fewer physical keyboards as the onscreen ones continue to develop, but you probably want to look for the HTC Merge.

The 4G icon looks more than a little different. It looks photoshopped different. Grey Haloing. Varied character thickness. Lack of LTE. Usually icons at the top are much more similar than what we see between the incredible HD and this Galaxy device. I am skeptical that this photo is authentic in these details.
