Now that we rooted D2, how can we overclock tihs thing to something > 1G…Setcpu only allows to 1G so I think the application is USELESS.

I agree with you in that I don't need custom themes etc… but I like the way certain roms do certain things like sapphire rom uses opencore instead of stagefright for audio which is supposedly slower(haven't noticed any speed difference) but sounds better and includes overclock settings within the rom and several other things…. just saying roms are more than just looks

So after running through the code for like 2 hours, I finally got this to work. It shouldn't take that long, I was missing 1 freaking space that was causing all my problems. So here is some advice, copy and past the code line for line and you shouldn't have any problems. Yeah I'm rooted! now just need someone to get some custom roms on this thing!

I jumped over there and followed the steps (sometimes cutting and pasting) and got it in one try. Tested by d/l several root only apps from the market and was prompted for superuser approval. However, I gotta say, I used to be an old unix hack (not hack-er, hack) and that made it easier.
