The Droid X is almost seamless. I have not experienced any major lag even when running google maps, email, and internet at the same time. I have mine rooted with wireless tether and have used it online with two laptops connected and the internet connection has still been acceptable for 3G. And, don't believe the I*hone users that say "My phone is so great" and "Apple products are the best". I personally know I*phone users that are pissed off with their phones. Sometimes it's the phone itself and sometimes it's just AT&T's dismal coverage. I like Apple and yes the I*phone was the single best product two years ago, but, like all Apple products, they don't keep their luster for long. Someone else improves on the Apple design and Apple needs to go back and figure out the "next best thing".

I woke this morning to find Froyo Update 22D waiting for installation. Contrary to some reports, the update Did Not include Flash 10.1, and searching the market returns No Known location for Flash 10.1 either. Peeking into the ADOBE site returned no joy either… Am I doing something wrong?

THey might they might not. They can say u voided your warranty by rooting even if your speaker broke before rooting.

wheres the slideout keyboard on the droid incredible? because if the droid incredible is better then a droid 1 then it must have a slideout keyboard since thats all i really care about. as long as the phone can make calls, text, has internet, and a slideout keyboard then its good. Droid 1 has all of that but the droid incredible doesn't since its missing the keyboard. which makes the droid 1 better.

I don't understand, why the hell does the original Droid get 2.2 and my DROIDX doesn't get Jack? This is insane! I feel like I've been waiting forever to get the new OS, this sucks.

I do have a custom recovery. I rooted with universal androot. and may i ask didn't you mean frg22d update instead of frg22?

Are They going to fix the problems with the battery I'm now having? Before froyo when I turned an app off until I was ready to use it again now that I have froyo the sop's come on all by themselves and my battery won't last more than a couple of hours. I think I'd be better off with a phone that wears a jacket than a phone I can't use at all unless I'm willing to lug around a car battery
