I think this technically go against the terms of service with you carrier, but then again so does rooting in the first place.

To wifi tether on a rooted Droid you will need to download either “Wireless Tether for Root Users” or “Barnacle Wifi Tether” from the Marketplace. Simple as that, there are no extra frees to pay or limits on data usage as there would be with non rooted wifi tethering plans from the carriers. Warning: this technically go against the terms of service with you carrier, but then again so does rooting in the first place.

How does the wifi tether work on/with a rooted droid?? I'm working on my pros and cons before rooting and would just like to knowb as much about the benefits and various apps available to root users only…not really concerned (much) about the process, more so what comes after…
