Same here on the exact setup only using NexTheme and 7 slot low volt 1ghz kernel.

I can only imagine all or most existing popular Rome will somehow incorporate 2.2 code w/ froyo, no? I'd hate to have to go back to stock as I am loving mu current setup :-/

Kellex or Droid Lifer: I am new to rooting and am guessing that this could be a off question, but will Froyo update on my rooted Droid? I am running DarkEdge also and have came to conclusion through other inquires that Froyo update will not effect DarkEdge at all, but wanted to hear about both from a good source (Droid-Life).

I'm getting results between 9.3 and 9.8 – running NexBeast (based upon the new BB) and a P3Droid 1.0Ghz kernel. Even twice that would be amazing. If 2.2 does indeed do this to the speed of the phone, I'll immediately unroot and go to stock just to have it. If 2.2 does half of what's being rumored, we're going to have some amazing devices (which I'll immediatly show off to my iPhone-loving friends and family!).

My Incready is already the fastest I've seen (or thought I need). I couldn't imagine 4 – 5 times faster. That just means more battery drainage in my head (and bigger more straining apps). BRING IT ON.

I tested it on my Droid and got 8.25 running BB V1.0 with a 1Ghz kernel. My Droid Incredible got like 6.976. And despite this, my Droid Incredible is still way faster than my Moto Droid. I'm still on the 30 day trial period but so far I have no reason to return it. The only downside I see with the Droid Incredible is that the battery runs out way faster.

BB v1.0 clocked at 1.2 ghz. Averaging 9.9. Holy crap I cant imagine how fast it gonna feel when its 4x faster!! =)

Just got past the 2.1 update and now the 2.2 rumors? lol
Just one question. Are there any plans to allow me to use bluetooth dialing? This phone is ALL that and is still missing simple programs to make it complete.

I think I just creamed my pants....

I saw this via the DL app on my droid and of it wouldn't load correctly and I saw the picture and it blew my mind, I can't wait for this to be released. I can't imagine what this will be like once the custom rom makers get their hands on this beast!
