  • Have you heard anything about Google Allo? Google has been very silent on it and there is zero news on it.

  • 1. Do you think the global recall will force Samsung to move up release plans for the S8 and Galaxy Note 8 in order to get past the negative press and fallout from the Note 7?
    2. New Fall Season TV lineups are about to start. What are your guilty pleasures?
    3. Google has a fair amount of apps and services that seem redundant (but in some ways, serve different niches); do you see this as ever ending or is this just to be accepted as what Google does and will continue to do?

  • What do you anticipate happening with Android with the release of the new “Pixel” devices?
    Up until this point, we’ve pretty much had an idea of what to expect from Google (and Nexus devices) but now with the possible release of “Pixel” devices and the end of “Nexus” devices, will Android now have a “Pixel” build of Nougat (possible 7.1 with additional software) for Pixel devices and a “regular” Nougat build (also 7.1) for the remaining Nexus devices OR…..will the remaining supported Nexus devices be updated to the same Nougat build as the new devices?

    TL;DR
    Do you anticipate that there will now be TWO builds of Nougat (one for Pixel and one for Nexus until EOL) OR will Nexus devices receive the “same” version of Nougat (and all new Google tweaks) that the Pixel devices will possibly get?

  • With all the news about the Pixel line (including AP’s great post about the “iPhone competitor”) Do you think that Android is evolving and taking another step forward? Or does this spell disaster because it’s yet ANOTHER re-branding (of some sort)?

    I know, I know, Nexi aren’t out yet, but…for me, they would have to be astonishingly good for me to take one of them over the OnePlus 3.

  • Do you think Samsung will amp up its Tizen plans after the Pixel phones are announced?

    Because we should all know by now they weren’t happy with Google owning Motorola and finally backed off the duplicate apps/Tizen phones when Google sold Moto off to its death.

  • What did you guys do before working on Droid Life? How did Kellen meet Tim? How did you meet Ron? Does it ever get lonely just the two of you? Any weird please hire me stories? Do you guys get mob out in public by fanboys of DL?

  • It’s mid-September, should we consider a 2016 Moto X to be dead? Lenovo/Moto claimed it was still alive back in July, yet not a peep since.

  • Do you think iPhone have finally caught up with Android in term of hardware? and do you feel any different for new iPhones like you can recommend to average user? I’m using Android Since Nexus S and used more then 30 Android phones I had S7 edge, OnePlus 3 and I have HTC 10 and Axon 7. I feels less urge for V20 and I’m curious to know more about Pixel XL phones. (even though Moto Z Play fascinates me a lot) should I try iPhone for sake of change? I do know it charges slow and transferring files is bit hard. I use my phone most for watching movies, TV series and browsing.

Sneakers: Nike already announced there will be a Kobe 12 – will his brand have the staying power of Jordan or will it fizzle quickly? Personal level: Is Senor Tato into anything besides tech and watches? I mean Kellen’s got his Blazers and his sneakers…

  • Q: For those of us with the afflicted battery Note 7’s, what’s going to happen to our Samsung Promotions (Gearfit2 or 256gb SD card) once we relinquish our phones to the carriers and wait for new stocks???

    • I got the Gearfit2 on my wrist right now and the 256gb chip now in my temporary s7e. Have you not gotten yours yet?

      • I got a message saying the Gearfit2 was processed and other message would be sent when it shipped. Crickets since then. I bought my Note7 on Aug 22nd a did the promotion a few days later.

  • Will we expect more cases for the DROID Z Force that will allow ease of swapping MODS? OR a case that will at least support the wireless charging MODS?

  • Would you guys consider the wearables market to be all but dead at this point? If yes, what do you think might help ignite interest in the public at large?

  • Do either of you have any interest in the iPhone 7/7+? In the past you’ve reviewed the 6, so I’m curious if something like that is in the pipeline.

    • Honestly for me assuming Apple rumors are true next year’s iPhone which will be the 10th anniversary is the one I’d want reviewed.

      • Good point. It may be worth holding off. I am interested still in Kellen and Tim’s thoughts now that we’ve had some time to digest what Apple is doing.

      • I think iPhone 7+ in black looks sexy and if camera can really do great in low light and excel Android.. iPhone might be a great option now.
