It’s a “Demo” build, just gives you poster highlights of what to expect, Clearly said “Not A Daily Driver” I have my reservations, but my brother will like this a lot and he’s been looking forward to this.

It’s a more full OS experience definitely. Just the feel and layout feels like a Kindle… I think we’re on the same page.

Duh? Didn’t take me very long to figure out I do not like the interface at all. Even when it is finished I can’t see myself using it on a phone. I might be OK with it on a tablet though.. Btw I do use Ubuntu as my main desktop so it has nothing to do with hating on Ubuntu

Also, the notification bar can be slid to the left and right to change from battery to wifi. Don’t need to slide back up every time

Note on the video: there is no back button because you swipe from the left to get to the home screen. no need to slide up the menu. Gesture-based navigation.

I really wish I watched this video before I started to flash it on my N10.. haha I figured there would have been at least a bit more functionality in it. Oh well, still well worth it.

The way the home screens handle the content is similar to Kindle, but other than that it looks much more functional than Amazon’s UI.
