This update broke the root access on my phone and I spent half the day fixing it yesterday. My phone was left half rooted and half unrooted, with the effect being that none of my root apps worked. I kept detailed notes on what exactly I did to fix the problem and get my root access back, if anyone else has this issue I’d be happy to share.

Okay just noticed a change…I have swift keyboard and the update reactivated the rezound keyboard. Had to manually start swift again.

You’re the second person I’ve seen that comment about the ringtone. I checked mine and it’s still the same…still can’t find what they actually “updated.”

i saw update message but it didn’t seem to do anything when I clicked OK
The message just disappeared…would I have seen an update process ??

Woke up to a message telling me that my HTC Rezound and been updated. However I haven’t seen a difference. Unlike the other post’s my ringtone was not changed and I have seen no adverse effects. Perhaps someone will discover the specifics.

I think this settlement may have something to do with the update and is why there is no information about it.

i pressed cancel on update screen and update still occurred. only obvious change was my ringtone was changed without my consent

It’s awesome! You can disable any app that you want and it will remove it from using up ram and starting up all the time.

well, i noticed that i used to have ICS 4.0.1 and now its 4.0.3 and the difference between those is very minimal… just some bug fixes and alterations to the calender, accessibility, certain graphics, and apparently some camera apps (but i havent noticed those yet). at first when i turned my phone on though i freaked out because my phone lost all its widgets but i just had to restart and they came back.
