Just flashed this ROM a week ago from a clean slate. 7-9 days of texts with close to 9 threads at about 5-10 texts each. If this cannot handle that, it is just not for me. If i had a loaded box i would never have opened my mouth.

I LOVE get updates from Sliding Messaging. It might be a weird habit but I check my apps every morning and what do you know, a new update, which means he’s constantly making changes and adding in what the people are asking for, while juggling school, homework, his social life, etc. I have bought it, and I keep switching back to stock because SM keeps deleting messages and all this talk, but I think it’ll get there in no time

So IO tried Sliding Message and thought it showed promise so I paid for the Pro.
NOW nothing but crashes even when the app isn’t open or being used.

More wasted $$$.
Maybe the rotten apple controls itself for a reason other then letting ppl customize!

Apparently Sliding Message (the free version) won’t be receiving any further updates outside of immediate bug fixes. There dev left a message in the most recent changelog about it.

Action Launcher was updated over the weekend

Considering the amount of apps I’ve paid for that haven’t received updates in eons (I’m looking at you Action Launcher), I don’t mind that Sliding Messenger Pro is constantly updated as long as it’s consistently updated. Do the frequency of improvements matter anyways?

The problem is your either trying to load all of your messages, or you have too many messages for the app to try to load on its own. If you deleted some of your threads the lag would decrease.

Sliding Messaging is the ONLY app on my phone I set for Automatic Updates because of the frequency of updates. But I do like the app. Like others it needs to get faster/smoother and have full MMS capabilities (not a bridge).

I stopped using Flipboard and Carbon for Twitter has been “meh” for me. I still prefer Falcon for Twitter (use the widget full-time and the Pro when I need to do “more”). I do like the multiple account feature of Carbon, tho.
