While 6.5 would be sweet having nothing tactile is kinda maddening. Would like to be able to feel something for hand orientation without having to look at that too.

Let’s you see how the Note 3 could get away with a larger 6.1 or 6.3 inch screen. If you either push the home button down and have a little bit on the top for an ear piece grill and led notifications along with webcam I think you could fit it into the same form factor that’s on the Note 2.

I’d like a 6.5″ BEZELESS phone with only on screen keys that slide up like you see in the first video and no telecom branding on it. That way I can sell my tablet and use one device.

I can’t and like Tom said, that wasn’t my point. It only takes one insider at any manufacturer to put a rootkit on the image that every PC gets shipped with. HP themselves (or any US PC manufacturer) wouldn’t do it, but some internal employee linked to the Chinese govt could easily do this. It makes me nervous, but it doesn’t stop me from buying them. I just check out the PC when I get it to make sure it is clean before I start using it.

My real point was that the Chinese govt. is corrupt and is behind many of the hacking attempts on our infrastructure. With a company like Huawei or ZTE, you have direct govt. involvement at the highest levels. If you were in the info sec industry, you would understand why that is very concerning. We have already found back doors in their products before so they already have a mark against them.

Ya, whenever we have vendors come demonstrate their equipment and distribute USB drives with marketing material, the ones from Chinese companies have malware on them more often than the ones from non-Chinese companies.

Then he says he would never buy a PC that is designed and built from a Chinese company (ie. Huawei).
