Yeah, I just downloaded some torrents last night on my Note 2 using Utorrent. It didn't slow it down at all when watching videos or doing anything else with it running in the background. This made my Gnex lag like crazy too. Performance on this phone is amazing.

I agree. I already have an XO Skin on the back glass. Bought the official bumper, which I'm not too big on. Makes the phone feel too wide. Received my Ringke Slim case yesterday, which I will use daily, because I hate cases. It's super thin, so I don't mind it at all! But at least it will ease my mind a bit. I also have a diztronic tpu case on the way for when I go camping, Jeeping & such, for a little more protection. I will be super pissed if the back scratches, cracks or shatters.

I hate the pentile mess (which no one seems to talk about with the S3 screen). Also, not being able to turn on the camera while you're on the phone? Thank god AOKP (@xoomdev) made my S3 experience better. Why does the home button unlock the phone when you already have an unlock button? I don't get it...Loving the DNA. Might change my mind by Jan. 15th though. My point from this semi rant? I loved my GNex, too, pentile screen and all. (Seriously loved, and miss it)..

I'm not defending them. I'm defending my own thoughts which happen to echo their's. They gave the Nexus 7 an 8.8. Take the iPad mini's 10 score for ecosystem and apply it to the Nexus 7 and it would have scored higher than the iPad Mini. That really encapsulates the choice you have to make with the two devices. Do you pay the premium and get the tablet with the best in class app ecosystem or do you pay less and get the tablet with the inferior but improving app ecosystem. To me the hardware is a wash, they're both better and worse than each other in different areas.

I don't think the Fire HD belongs in the discussion. That is a great piece of hardware running terrible software.

Believe me when I say this. I love my Nexus 4, and I'm not badmouthing this awesome device. But, let's not run away from the facts. The glass on the back is a lot thinner than the front. If you tap the glass on both sides, you will "hear" the difference. I'm not quoting what others are saying, this is my primary device I'm talking about. The glass on the back can of been better.

Your opinion might be different, and I respect that. Good Luck!
