Maybe partially, but the real reason Samsung Galaxy tablets didn’t sell is because (imo) it is an inferior product, especially when compared to the Nexus 10. At the end of the day, what sells a product is quality & features, not marketing gimmicks. And for the Nexus 10 in particular, their sales for the holidays will be lower as a result of having a lack of supply available. Many will just go for an alternative Android or an iPad.

hey just an FYI, im pretty sure you CAN save your number. Theres an article/blog out there (i think on verizon’s forums) where this guy successfully ported his number to google voice and kept his unlimited data. I’ll be doing that and selling my unlimited plan to someone else.

They probably saw the orders for more devices and larger quantities and had to call everyone to make sure they weren’t being punk’ed , LG and “sold out” has never went hand in hand before. It probably took a week just to confirm the orders to make more.

Having received my fifth replacement Galaxy Nexus today with again, a faulty screen. It has me wondering, what’s worse. The frustration that goes along with not knowing when one will receive a Nexus 4, or the unpredictability that one will receive a flawed Galaxy Nexus. At least the tolerances appear to be tighter with LG than Samsung, so far…
