Same here, i updated and touchscreen not working at all, I re-flashed using WugFresh Root Toolkit several times but nothing, any suggestion

Did you flash the update manually? It may just be a bad download. Try redownloading and use WugFresh Root Toolkit to reflash the update. That may work.

I used OTA Root Keeper. But out of an abundance of caution, I used the “temp unroot” function before I took the OTA, then rooted it back with Root Keeper.

Yesterday I updated my Nexus 7, but now,the touch screen is not responding! I’ve tried to restart the tablet, it restarts ,however the touch screen still doesnt respond! Any guess?? Its really a shame… i got this tablet two weeks ago…

I was running a stock rooted 4.2 with CWM and accepted the OTA. When it rebooted into recovery it failed but gave me the option to install the untrusted zip. I did so. It worked. Then CWM asked me if I wanted to suppress the stock recovery. I did. Then it asked me if I wanted to fix root. I did. I was happy. I love CWM.

If you lash the OTA via CWM it will ask if you want to fix recovery and root before you reboot the system. Otherwise use Voodoo OTA Keeper as suggested.

That’s what I love about flashing OTA’s via CWM. I just hit fix flash and fix root. Viola!

Just use J Rummys Rom Tollbox to make backups of your build.prop and other modified system files and restore them before you flash an OTA. PROFIT!
