I’m still amazed that the international community never bothers China for all the Stealing of Intellectual Property, piracy, and hacking. They are allowed to steal from the rest of the world without penalties from the international laws and community. Just one of the many reasons I hate China

You’re lumping (well) design vs quality manufacturing. A product can be poorly design where it can look ugly, yet have a quality manufacturing process producing it :cough:KINDLEFIRE:cough:

How about a more obvious example, the iPhone4 suffer from poor “design” choices that was made to use glass, despite having a quality manufacturing process to produce the individual components that make up the phone.

The Meizu may be an “obvious” take on the iPhone, but the assumption that it would be poorly made/manufactured without ever touching it is idiotic. No offense. The Asus Transformer tablets line is made/manufactured with quality metal form factor and glass LCDs. Where’s the cheaply made stuff?

Just wait until you can touch it before passing judgement on whether it’s cheaply made, maybe?

Manufactured and designed are completely different. Apple oversees the manufacturing process and has quality standards for their manufacturers to follow. Products designed in China don’t have to abide by the same rules, and are known for cheap materials and cutting corners. I am in no way an apple fan, but I’m not too ignorant to believe they don’t have quality products from a hardware standpoint.
