The simple fact that a company that thrives on data collection couldn’t collect and analyze the data well enough to forecast demand for 3 extremely popular product lines is in fact a corporate debacle. Add in the fact they could not covey to customers the status of their orders and it only compounds the issue

Just deny the shipment when it arrives or don’t open it and take it back to UPS/FedEx saying you refuse shipment. It will go back to the shipper and you get a refund.

It is impossible to order Nexus 10 32GB. Even it is in store if you proceed to purchasing you are getting this (screenshot) http://clip2net.com/s/2wKls . I tried yesterday, today.,, everything is same. Shame on you Google.

Probably samsung taking a bigger portion of the cost to build it, Samsung likes to have competitive prices similar to another company, but the trade off is for the size and the screen resolution, and it gives Google a way to make some money basically.

They have to because your ordering from California. That and one other state ( can’t remember which) now charge state sales tax. Its coming soon to a state near you too.

You got the product you ordered within a week of ordering on a hectic launchday of a highly anticipated device. Okay, the notification system botched up keeping you apprised of the situation, but really, debacle? Seems a bit strong considering you got what you ordered in an extremely timely fashion.

They’re actually really nice though. Active digitizer, x86(the desktop version, rather than ARM) Windows. I’d say the current Surface is too expensive to be a proper introductory to the MS ecosystem.

I wouldn’t say he missed the point. He just jumped ahead of it and made a statement that covered just about everything pertaining to it. Something is worth what people are willing to pay for it. By purchasing the item you justify the price. Google doesn’t force you to buy the item, so we have no basis to be angry at them for pricing the way they do.

I know for a fact that Amazon has a contract with Best Buy. Best Buy has agreed not to sale the Nexus 7 because the tablets are in the same price range. I don’t know if the N10 falls under the same contract.

I gave you an upvote but I think you’re missing Hugh’s point. Every other device sold through the Play store is priced at $50 increments between “versions”. Why should the Nexus 10 be the only one that’s not? It becomes even more annoying when the Nexus 7 has the same 16 and 32 GB options but it only has a $50 price bump.
