Because Verizon went straight to LTE. They didn’t waste everyone’s time upgrading their old infrastructure like everyone else.

I’ve had LTE for a while too and have been very impressed. My only complaint is, since I live really close to Kinnick stadiium, during Iowa home games my speed drops by at least 10 mbps.
