What a joke. My dad has the iphone 5 and he left it at my place for a weekend so I could set it up for him. Let me tell you I got off that thing as fast as I could to get back to my gnex every time and I was even trying to force myself to use it to give it a fair shot. Simple things are much more complex on it. Like he had a group of pictures he wanted me to email. Well u can only batch select pics from the gallery app, not by entering the gallery from the camera app even though they look identical. And to batch delete pictures, u have to choose the share button to select a bunch before it even shows up a trash can icon. Makes no sense either. Last I checked, sharing is very different than deleting. I’ll stick with android and my ability to just long press a pic for these options. Plus the screen sucks IMHO. Still very narrow and txt was small on Web pages and the viewing angle seemed very small too

I’ve used the maps 4 times since i got the phone and it’s always gotten me to my destination correctly. So disregarding the transit times, which I never use, the maps works pretty flawlessly for their first shot at it.

That just means his wifi radio is on the whole time…so if anything it drains a little more power. If you look at the mobile network section, that will tell you when his 3g/4g radios were active…

You’re on wifi the entire time. That alone comes close to doubling battery life.

I’ve always used android phones, currently the S3 an I have a Nexus 7 and Galaxy Note 10.1 as well. I 100% agree with you about the fluidity of iphone and ipad, They just operate smoother and all the fanboyism in the world wont change that. Now to me, the flexiblity of Android is more important than how smooth the phone works, but I will agree with you on how well the ipone operates.
