I’m pretty sure > has always meant greater then. That is why he said “to me” at the end. As in a 10 inch is greater the 7 inch to him. Not just in size but in use.

i wonder if apple pays devs handsomely…i know plenty of folks who pirate expensive games on their jailbroken ipad 2 and 3′s…and these are hardcore ifans. piracy must be THAT much more awful on android. a part of me is hoping that with the nexus announcements this month, google will discuss a new incentive they have given to devs to make popular apps with native tablet versions for the n7 AND the n10.

Right there with you… picked it up on launch, it’s almost 2 years old. 7 inch screen hampers my productivity (word, excel & powerpoint files). Bring on the N10 !

I hate to be the one to say this but…. I bought a Galaxy Note 10.1 and seriously, it’s perfect for school and work. Especially with the new update that cleans Snote up a bit. I’ve seen the early release stuff for the JB update too, that’s going to make the note even better for those two enviroments… and it has the note taking while being able to review a document side by side. I use it for that purpose all the time.

I see no reason for a tablet to be above 1920×1200. There is very little content created at higher resolutions (pretty much only photos) and that means most of the stuff you look at is going to have to be scaled up to fit the display resolution and thus will look worse then a lower res (1080p) display that can display the content natively. Additionally your 3D performance is going to suffer on mobile GPUs with all those extra pixels.

I have downloaded virtually every big office app on Android and tested it. They all lack in key functionality, especially the presentation apps. I have also tried almost 10 different note taking apps and I agree, Evernote is great, but even with Skitch it’s not what I’m looking for. My coworker is using Notability on his iPad and it looks like a sophisticated app. Something like that would be great. Problem with all handwriting apps so far is that they have only the one sheet to write on and no multi-windowed options for writing/document overview etc. Look at Notability and you will see what I mean. http://www.gingerlabs.com/cont/notability.php

Gotta give the XOOM credit. It’s gotten all of the major Android upgrades and still runs like a champ. I love my Wifi XOOM! That being said I’d love a lighter more powerful version at some point, and with 7″ being a bit too small for me…10.1″ is perfect.
