It’s pretty laggy on my Gnexus, but it’s buttery smooth on my iPad. I have a feeling the iOS app is native code and the Android app is an HTML 5 wrapper.

Looks to me like they went the “facebook” app route: use the app as a wrapper for an html5 server-side interface. Laggy and the covers look terrible! And, worst of all imho, the buttons look like they are from the iOS version. Please, oh please Netflix, have some pride and give us a good-looking Holo app. If someone in a little hut in podunk, USA can follow the design guidelines, why can’t a multi-million-dollar company????

Why oh why doesn’t the phone version allow for landscape orientation??? For those of us that mirror our displays through HDMI, having to pick from a portrait screen is irritating to say the least.

Had this the other day and it went back to the old style the next day. I thought something was wrong with the app. It was horribly laggy on my s3 and difficult to navigate. HUGE disappointment
