Locked bootloader, SHOCKER, oh wait it's not. Nothing that the great Android Community can't resolve. Also Verizon chose not to lock down the iP5 and even has allows it to work on all US GSM carriers as well out of the box. So why are they screwing with Android.

Can they do that for a 4g phone? I thought anything that runs on a 700mghz spectrum can't be locked? Like the iPhone 5 on Verizon? Just asking to educate myself

I don't see what the big deal is with everyone hating on Verizon. My dad has been with them for over 10 years, and is grandfathered into the unlimited data plan. My Droid X gets 3G 4/4 bars everywhere I go and my dad's Droid Bionic gets 4/4 4G LTE bars everywhere he goes. I really don't care what the SGN2 looks like, as long as it has a 5.5" screen, 4G LTE, and a stylus. I'm sure that It's my next phone

As a company,..I LOVE T-Mobile. I do not think any other company can compare to the top quality customer service one receives from them. I have always felt they bend over backwards to do anything they can for me in all the years I have been a customer. As far as to WHERE I have service, well that has become more of a problem recently. Yet even with my lack of coverage in my current area, even though my contract expired in the beginning of 9/2012, I have not left them and deal with my coverage problems because I would rather do that, and have a back up prepaid Verizon I carry in case of an emergency than have any major dealings with another company.
That said...I WANT the Note ll. So now I have to decide whom to get it through. I have been trying to find out if T-mobile is going to try to boost their networks in this area at all.(For instance, I have a current open report going in my area right. I have a T-Mobile rep that calls me every week to let me know the status of that and to let me know she is taking it to the next level to try to get me better coverage)
(Can you really see Verizon bothering to do that or AT&T?)
If they can do that I probably will get it through them and sign another 2 year. I really don't think I can make myself get back in the boat with Verizon. They treat you like dirt. When I left them I told them no matter what they ever offered me, no mattered what they comped me, what phone they had,I wouldn't stay and I would never go back. I don't think I can do it now. They are the worst company but with good coverage, but they just aren't worth it. Maybe if people started dropping them left and right they would start changing how they treat us and remember, THEY need US to stay in business.
