Verizon will be dead last and IF they do release the GS3 JB 4.1 before the Galaxy Nexus gets it . . . well there’s another class action suit for false advertising since they clearly stated in the in-store advertisements that the Galaxy Nexus would get the updates first and the fastest or some such BS mumbo jumbo that means nothing from a company who holds up any and every software update and cripples phones all the way back to the first Motorola flip phone with Bluetooth (which I owned)

I waited forever to root, but the folks on here wore me me down and i gave up and did it, then flashed jelly bean and then the new radios that leaked from big red and my nexus went from the worse pos i have even owned, to one hell of a phone

I just purchased the GNex on Verizon and I am clueless as to why Verizon has not released JB to this Nexus device. There is so much BS going on with Verizon it’s sickening. Money hungry bastards looking to install and ship JB on their next flagship instead of the phone that should have received it already. Yeah we’re testing it alright.

I agree. Even though I can certainly root and ROM if I want. I shouldn’t have to. Updates should come at a reasonable amount of time. I feel bad for the galaxy nexus users because one of the main selling points of the phone is “quick updates to the latest os”.

I’m guessing that you have never wrote the code that roots any phone nor developed any ROM for a phone.

Keep calling yourself a “hacker.” My grandmother can follow a set of instructions.

Some people want updates without needing to root their phone.
If we don’t complain, the update situation will never be solved.
