Jelly Bean stock keyboard is what I use now. It’s close enough to Swiftkey quality, but having the voice to text thing readily available without having to switch keyboards is what sells me.

See my other comment, but if you like the stock keyboard, definitely try turning the text preditiction up to “Very Agressive”.

For anyone with Jellybean, try turning your text prediction on the new stock keyboard up all the way (settings > Language & input > Android Keyboard settings > Autocorrection > Very Agressive). It’s a night and day difference, and is extremely accurate. I can almost type without looking/paying attention now, literally.
It doesn’t have some of the neat option of swiftkey or the other keyboards (like pop up options, and the next word prediction isn’t as agressive), but it’s much smoother, never runs in to any problems (like the search bar bug on chrome), and it includes the default speech entry too.
After trying out a bunch of different keyboards, and using Swiftkey for a long time, this small change was enough to make the stock keyboard my favorite. And if you like the stock keyboard anyways, I don’t see any reason not to turn up the autocorrection all the way, I don’t think it’s ever caused any problems.

Even though it’s extremely cheap at $1.99, there should totally be a 7-day trial or something. Would be cool.

If you read the reviews in the Play Store, people are saying that the last couple of updates borked what might at one time have been a nice keyboard.

If you read the market reviews it sounds like these devs have a lot of work to do. I’ll just stick with Swype & Swiftkey.

Did they fix the encryption? I read a few articles that claimed they sent all keystrokes in plain English to their servers. Haven’t paid attention to the since. Swiftkey or thumb for me.

I switch beween AI and Swiftkey constantly. Love them both. I like AI because of the iOS theme and overall accuracy. I like Swiftkey because it rocks.
