Man…I wish Samsung would make a device with a nice Galaxy sliding keyboard. I do miss my physical keyboard for gaming and emulators. Which is what I use my device for when not using as a phone.

First off, I really don’t get how you can call the Droid 4 an embarrassment, but what REALLY bugged me is that you called the Incredible 4G LTE an embarrassment. Seriously? Wow.

Secondly, does this come in a GSM flavor? I’d take one.

Have you used the Droid Incredible 4G who’s screen/specs you slam? qHd is much sharper on the DINC4G’s 4″ screen than it will be on the Photon’s 4.3″. Have you used the DINC4G in sunlight? It’s AWESOME. No need to shade it or anything, very bright and sharp…close to iPhone pixel density at a very manageable size. Sub-par specs…really? The DINC4G has Android 4.03, 1GB RAM with an S4 processor and a 1700mAh battery…which translates to very fast performance and good battery life. How in the world is this sub-par? The ONLY negative about the DINC4G specs is the storage space…it comes with 8GB built-in. If this affects you then stick a 32GB SD-Card in the thing…they’re $17.29 on amazon with free shipping.

This is a terrible, misleading artice. I just started reading this site recently and after garbage like this, I’ll gladly move on.

I’m not sure why you bash on the Droid 4 all of a sudden, other than it not shipping with ICS, the Droid 4 is identical to this phone in basically every way. Even the dimensions are the same. I think Motorola is including the on-screen navigation keys as part of that 4.3″ number, but then only quoting the usable space when they list the identical resolution and ratio for the screen as on the Droid 4. I absolutely love the keyboard on my Droid 4 and cannot wait for ICS or eventually JB, but the hardware is lovely and I would not give up a physical keyboard, especially after spending so much time typing on my awesome Droid 4′s

I agree with what was said above. I went from an OG Droid to a Droid 3. A phone with awesome community and open development to a phone with nothing. I would have gone to a droid 4/5 if it was a razermaxx HD with a keyboard but that phone is 2 years off. The keyboard phones have become mid-tier devices and Moto is behind the curve in display/graphics/processing on their flagship device. I now have an SGSIII and the radio is just as good, the GPS is far better and the display/graphics/processing is an unbelievable step up. I hope that Moto steps up and makes something that we love like the OG droid again.

No crap…this is a “DROID” branded site…it started with the OG Droid and has been committed to following the DROID brand but has recently branched to cover any/all Verizon elite devices. Kellen is by far my favorite Android blogger and I feel he has done a great job supporting and contributing to this awesome Android community.

While the Photo Q has a 4.3″ screen, compared to the Droid 4′s 4.0″ screen, remember that the Photo Q looses that 0.3″ to the Android function keys which are now part of the display.
