Same here. Then i received a 3rd follow up email this morning asking for a screenshot of my About screen showing i had entered the correct serial number.

Can you help? Could you take a snapshot of your Xoom’s status screen and send it to me? (Settings > About tablet > Status) Please scroll down on the Status screen so we can see as many of the identifying numbers as possible — there are a lot!

Same here. Not sure if we’re going to get an email, though. In theory, they’d just push an update to your device, so keep checking for system updates.

The Xoom is as close of brother to the XYBoard as the Droid 1 was to the Droid 2. In other words they hooked you with a open source device released a updated version of it and locked it down tighter than your HS Girlfriend.

I did the same, but as I’m still waiting on the N7 for another 2 weeks or so, I’m starting to regret that decision. Mainly because of the 10″ screen and LTE radios.

You’ll still have AOKP/CM10, the developer community has supported that device more than Verizon ever could.

They updated it to ICS basically the same time the G-Nex got 4.0.4. They just don’t care about any of their devices. As for the LTE variant, AOKP cares.

I’m happy for the Xoom owners they are possibly getting Jelly Bean update soon, I have the XyBoard and I still have not received ICS, i thought the XyBoard was suppose to be the newer Xoom. I know not a lot of people purchased the XyBoard, but I still like the tablet.
