If it’s like the Spectrum, that LG logo is not on the phone itself, it’s on the screen protector that comes on the phone. Peel it off–logo gone. The Verizon logo is another story…

JoshGroff is correct. I work in the industry and know for a fact. Hardware changes quite frequently as a matter of fact but it is a collaboration between both vendor and carrier. More often than not the carrier is making the decisions with the vendor complying with their requests.

The majority of android phones are of a slate design with either rounded edges and corners or sharp edges and corners. So when you say this is ugly are you referring to the other 90% of touch screen smartphones out there as well? I guess you cant make everybody happy even the trolls here who think they know everything. And whats wrong with the skin on this phone? Have any of you even seen it in action yet? Have you held the phone in your hands and tried it? I guarantee that you have not!

In reading other forums, a while back, about people’s experience with the gnex, not my opinion, I’ve read a lot of people say that the on screen buttons in ics take up room on their screens. What, it’s like 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch, but i’ve seen quite a few people show dislike over it saying it takes up valuable real estate. again, not my opinion.

I don’t care if this phone could drive my car, do my taxes for free and every other little thing I don’t feel like doing. Its butt ugly. Who designed this thing? Aesthetics mean a lot to me in cases like these. That retarded looking menu button is something that only Verizon would approve. Lol this is stupid!!!!

You have a point with the menu button… but that’s available in most ROMs for that very reason. I actually prefer the on screen nav buttons though.

Regardless, it’s pointless arguing because neither of us know when this phone was designed and finalized. There are phones coming out right now though that have on-screen nav buttons like the Moto Atrix HD.

Lol I completely agree. LG has ZERO sense of Design. And it’s really keeping them back. Let’s not even begin with their lack of updates.
