I don’t know anything about Mog, But last I was aware the only way to use spotify on anything OTHER then a computer, eg on a mobile device such as a cell or what have you, is to pay a subscription fee. When you’re just a free subscriber, you get to listen to ad’s every now and again, but it works on both my mac and window’s desktop. You just have to download the app, install, then sign in and you’re good to go. I can’t comment on the spotify mobile app though, I don’t have a subscription. If the mobile app work’s as well as the desktop app does, then it works very well indeed. I’ve yet to have an issue.

has anyone noticed that even if you downloaded a playlist, data is still being used in the background when playing? i had to switch it to offline mode to make it stop. seems to be destroying my battery

I’d really like artist radio included on the mobile app. There are times when I don’t know what I’d like to listen to.

I think they took an Apple approach to landscape mode. They don’t think you need it, so you don’t get it.

You can avoid using your data allotment by “downloading” playlists when you’re on a wifi connection.

Agreed. This is a major over site of this new app which doesn’t add a great deal to the development scope. I hope they update the app soon to incorporate landscape mode.

Same with any service like this. If you want it on the go you’ll need to pay
