Contest: Win 1 of 20 Tickets to Lookout’s “Party Your Apps Off” Google I/O Event on June 26 in San Francisco

If you are already going to be in San Francisco for Google I/O at the end of this month, then how would you like to come hang out with the DL crew at Lookout’s I/O party called “Party Your Apps Off”? The party is the night of Tuesday, June 26 at 8PM, and will feature plenty of good food (food truck style), unlimited drinks, Android-centric goodness, and even goodie bags for the first few people that show up at the door. The location is secret for now, but Lookout has assured us that it will be at one of SF’s hottest downtown spots. If you are going to be around, jump past the break for details on how to enter to win 1 of 20 tickets.

How to enter:

  1. In the comments section below, tell us what you are most looking forward to at this year’s Google I/O 2012.
  2. Make sure to enter with a valid email address so we can contact you if you win.
  3. The event is strictly age 21+, so please have a valid I.D. for entry. Sorry to all of our young readers.
  4. We are giving away 20 tickets, so you have a very good chance if you are in town or close by.

It’s as simple as that.

We will leave the contest open until Friday, June 15 at 12PM Pacific. At that time, our randomly selected 20 DL readers will be contacted with instructions on how to sign up for the event.

Good luck and we hope to see you there!

The selection of Jelly Beans at the candy bar. Why else would I be going?! Oh yeah…hands on with Project Glass would be extremely insightful, But I’m pretty sure they will have Jelly Beans!!

Definitely interested in seeing what the Nexus Tablet has to offer as well as any advances in tablet gaming that may be on display.

  • I always look forward to the keynote 🙂 I am also looking forward to see what they have in store for the chrome OS and project glass 🙂

  • nsauce7

Nexus tablet for sure and hopefully an even more in depth look at project glass. Hopefully droidlife will get some hands on time to relay to us

  • kbar

Definitely looking forward to the Nexus tablet the most. I had a Kindle Fire, but didn’t really love it. A “serious” 7-inch Android tablet would be pretty pro tier.

As an aside, I live in SF and am somehow actually off work on the night of this. Hope I get picked!

Also I will actually be in town that weekend.

Even though the schedule does not reflect much on this topic, I am hoping to be able to get more information about the [email protected] project. • Something innovative from Google that I can’t predict, but imagine I will love. Having a Galaxy Nexus also makes me excited for the next Android update.

  • aves

I’m hoping to see Google release a worthy competitor to Siri (project Majel?) so that I can finally show off too when my friends are talking to their iPhones 🙂 Besides, who really likes Siri anyway ?

  • The event is strictly age 21+, so please have a valid I.D. for entry. Sorry to all of our young readers.
Damn 20 is close enough, right?

  • Nexus Tablet, no question.

  • TheRealCBONE

Nexus tablet. Holding out hope for Courier-like dual-screen tablet announcement (give the peeps what they want, dammit!).

  • Matthew Shapiro

I am most looking forward to the purported Google Nexus 7 tablet. I think there needs to be a low-price higher end tablet out in the market to compete with other big name expensive tablets. I would like to see this tablet do for Android tablets what the Motorola Droid did for Android smart phones.
