Contest: Win 1 of 20 Tickets to Lookout’s “Party Your Apps Off” Google I/O Event on June 26 in San Francisco

If you are already going to be in San Francisco for Google I/O at the end of this month, then how would you like to come hang out with the DL crew at Lookout’s I/O party called “Party Your Apps Off”? The party is the night of Tuesday, June 26 at 8PM, and will feature plenty of good food (food truck style), unlimited drinks, Android-centric goodness, and even goodie bags for the first few people that show up at the door. The location is secret for now, but Lookout has assured us that it will be at one of SF’s hottest downtown spots. If you are going to be around, jump past the break for details on how to enter to win 1 of 20 tickets.

How to enter:

  1. In the comments section below, tell us what you are most looking forward to at this year’s Google I/O 2012.
  2. Make sure to enter with a valid email address so we can contact you if you win.
  3. The event is strictly age 21+, so please have a valid I.D. for entry. Sorry to all of our young readers.
  4. We are giving away 20 tickets, so you have a very good chance if you are in town or close by.

It’s as simple as that.

Winners:

We will leave the contest open until Friday, June 15 at 12PM Pacific. At that time, our randomly selected 20 DL readers will be contacted with instructions on how to sign up for the event.

Good luck and we hope to see you there!

Im excited about the new Nexus tablet and what Jellybean means for phones and tablets ICS was a good start in showing how well a tablet and a phone can share an experience but they need to iron out the overall experience.I forgot the event was in SF wish i was a developer SF is a little less then 45 minutes away from me. Also i rely on lookout it has kept my phone silently protected without incident even on my aging Droid 2 global.

I’m really looking forward to the new “Nexus” tablet. So far the tablet experience with Android has been sort of meh, and prohibitively expensive. I’m hoping the new tab and Jelly Bean will open the doors for more people (myself included) to be able to afford a proper Android tablet. Oh, and Google Glass too :)

  • aj34
