Indeed. Though I would prefer the Exynos since it has a significantly faster GPU, the S4 is definitely comparable on the CPU side and the extra RAM is a nice trade-off, IMO.

I don’t think any US version will see a quad-core. The Snapdragon processor with (2GBs?) of RAM will be enough.

Show me a laptop with the same combination of power, quality, battery life, and size.

Yes you can get a PC laptop with the same power, but it’s going to be massive, plastic, and not have a great battery life. I’ve done that before and I don’t plan on doing that again. And if you do find a PC laptop with similar size and power, then it’s probably an HP Envy which is just a MB pro copy cat with a nearly MB pro price, but without decent customer support.

I love Android phones, but no they won’t. People don’t buy iPhones (or any Apple product) because of price. I didn’t spend $2k on a MB Pro because I was concerned about price.

I’m probably not even getting this phone, but I’m still stoked for how widely and quickly it’s being adopted by US carriers. One step closer to putting carriers in their place and being a little more Apple-like at one of the few things they’re good at that I appreciate.
