You don’t have to uninstall leaked one. Just Force stop, delete cache and data. Install/overwrite the new apk. Then launch the app. You’ll have to login into it again. That’s it.

I’ve used Flipboard in these few weeks more than any other app I’ve used in 4 months on my GNex since I got it in Feb. It’s slick, addictive and useful.

To answer “Is this version any different” – The menu options are moved around a bit, ‘refreshing’ animation is changed, and I’m not sure if cache size control was there in leaked version. And saw update button upon installing this one. But not seeing it now. So, update button will show up when there’s an update?

Overall, I’m feeling this version is little slower than the leaked version.

It’s the UI and the looks and feel. I use both but Flipboard is a bit better IMHO. No harm given it a try if you have not done so.

I hate this application before knowing anything about it or trying it because it was released on ios before android, therefore I will note that there is already applications in the superior play store that already do exactly what this does, only better.

Just uninstall Flipboard, download the bet .APK and reinstall. All should be well. The app has some nice new features that improve usability of search and customization. There is also now an option to set how often the widget updates it information.
