720p IPS HD isn’t going to be good enough? I bet $500 its going to look better since Samsung didn’t use samoled+. My iPhone screen was great in the sunlight.

Say what you will, but 720p IPS LCD2 would look nicer than pentile AMOLED, and the GSIII is likely running the same S4 and this we know has 2GB RAM. Sure may not be first choice, but it’s no slouch either.

I agree. I am also miffed that it doesn’t have a microSD slot. The earlier LG phones had too little internal storage but were expandable. Now we get tons of RAM and enough internal storage but lose the expandability. LG just cannot get it all together. That battery capacity is pretty good on paper but it might get drained rather quickly given the screen and all that RAM.
I’m STILL holding out for Moto to reveal SOMETHING running ICS!

The looks of this device are growing on me. Too bad software support will be horrendous, and the development community won’t be strong with this phone.

I agreed with the corners, looks too sharp and design looks too plain. Another problem that might be of concern is the type of screen that they are using on this phone. It may not be as good as Samsung’s or Sony’s, especially in sunlight.
