That’s kind’ve bs.. Above stated from before on other people with roms. I’d figure the rezound would be more than capable of handling it since it’s between the sensation-xl and the one series. So… HTC pushing people towards new phones, Marketing -_-.

I got the ota update yesterday. I had the leak installed and switched batteries. it booted up in the reboot screen and I was a little nervous. but it installed and I now have the official build. seems exactly the same as the leak from April 28 ( I think that was the latest leak date).

I find it funny that HTC said that the older devices can’t ruin Sense 4.0 because it needs dedicated hardware, yet we have developers that have ported over Sense 4.0 from the HTC One X successfully and have it pretty close to fully working minus GPS being the biggest one thing. I run Sense 4.0 ICS 4.0.4 every day on my Rezound just fine.

I’m on rezound right now. Which honestly might have better potential even than that of the HTC one series. Honestly the quad core processor is too fast for the rest of the phone. I am running on bamfs senseless ICS currently and its fast. Get any version of sense and a live wallpaper on your phone and you immediately lose 250+ mb of ram. Where is the sense in that? Seriously HTC needs to give up on sense, or compress it quite a bit.

“HTC mentions that all of these devices will see Sense 3.6 with Android 4.0.3 rather than the newly released Sense 4.0 that comes loaded on the HTC One Series. They claim that Sense 4.0 needs specific dedicated hardware which none of these older devices contains.”

All the devices above will get Sense 3.6 and nor the new Sense 4.0
