Yeah but there are more factors than just that. Samsung doesn’t have to supply chips for the next Nexus tab or phone if they don’t want to even if they are contracted to build it. As far as I can tell the chances of them doing so are even lower when they aren’t building it
As far as I know there’s only one company that uses Samsung chips that isn’t Samsung, and they aren’t a major player. I think it was that MIUI phone that only sold in China as a matter of fact.

Well if somehow the next Nexus is Exynos powered, I am going to guess that it’s time for me to start looking at getting a GNex on VZW, since we won’t be getting anything with an Exynos chipset.

Also, you should educate yourself a little bit more on the exynos 5250 and the fact that it will be the first A15 processor. A duel core A15 will beast any quad core on the market today. And if you were expecting a A15 quad core you will be waiting till 2013.

There are other Android websites reporting that this is indeed the Nexus Tablet and that google chose to go this route because ASUS couldnt make it work for $199.

Im no expert but supposedly the EXYNOS 5250 dual core (it can also be made into quad core but the nexus tablet will be dual core) trumps most quad core chips out today. Many people are saying that the only competition will be the new OMAP chips when they are out.

I was hell bent on buying the Nexus tablet because it was gonna be quad core, but after educating myself more im confident that if they use this dual core set up we will be more than happy with it.

By the way, the screen on the Nexus tablet is supposed to be “fantastic” according to the same leaks.
