I got 4.0 on droid pro, its actually just the droid 2 version ported to the pro. It runs great, they have pretty much all the glitches out of it.

I think he has examplified that he indeed has grown those balls you’re telling him to grow, and is looking at this from a mature logical point. I love the amount of elitist hate people develop when they root their phones. Not all do but it is a very large portion of users. They scoff at those who don’t root their phones, and ridicule others who ask the very same questions about how to root, that they themselves were asking at one point. This post is in reference to the comment directly below the OP’s. New Disqus needs to “grow some balls”.

It’s not actually a “wifi hotspot” via bluetooth, its just simply a bluetooth connection, that gives you limited Internet access. You are only able to use it to have an Internet connection through your device’s stock browser, the official Youtube app, and I believe Google maps, or it could not be Google maps, I don’t recall. And this is if you are on most HTC phones, so its not really like having the regular wifi hotspot that others get to enjoy. I forgot to mention that this is in reference to using it with a tablet. I assume it will work fine if you just need an Internet connection on your computer through bluetooth. And also to get it to work with a tablet you have to download and use in conjunction with it, PDANetTablet.

Apparently this is an issue for HTC phones because of some way HTC protects their hotspot feature, which sucks big donkey balls if you don’t want to root, but want to use your wifi hotspot feature without taking it up the anus from your carrier, on most HTC phones like unfortunately my Rezound. I really wish the FoxFi developer could figure out a way around whatever is the roadblock for HTC phones.

Primarily so I can run Titanium Backup Pro. Also so that I can run Autostarts to control what starts at boot and Root Explorer so that I can access my entire phone’s file system and also so that I can edit my hosts file to block certain obnoxious connections that some apps I otherwise like make.
