When i was taught Journalism we were taught to explain both side of the issue and not to be bias, But that has pretty much gone out the window now a days with corporate agendas running news networks.

It’s saying they should be doing their part to make sure things are properly reported.  They should have not just run a story because it looked legit, they should have at least watched the video and seen there was NO indication that Sammie was behind this.

Do Kellex and Tim get press credentials when attending events (like the Moto announcement of the RAZR)?

Did Kellex and Tim attend MWC, collect and distribute news?

If you answered yes to those questions, Kellex and Tim are by definition Journalists in your opinion. 

By your logic, I could start a blog about couples participating in sexual activities complete with pictures and videos and it would not be a porn site because it’s a blog.

I would think they would want to make sure when they do collect and distribute the news, it is true and not full of false accusations.
