It shows the res minus the software keys on the bottom. Believe me as my galaxy nexus (which has a 720p display) and my old xoom also showed the same.

yes I do not see anywhere it says quad core and where is says processor the ARM blah blah I googled all of that and it shows up a dual core.

I was thinking the same thing it is very close to a nexus and date was 2011. This is not that S3 I don’t think. It is all part of the wow factor.

You guys really aren’t giving the Gnex enough cred in the camera category. I have a buddy with an S2, and we both lined it up at night, fired up night mode, and battled it out. Gnex was much MUCH quicker to take the pic (thanks to zero shutter lag) but also the quality of the picture turned out better.

Now he did have the GS2 on T Mobile, which has the much poorer Snapdragon than the exynos, but I believe the camera sensors should be the same.

Point is, in low light situations, the Gnex smokes most of the competition. I’ve been very happy, much more happy than I expected considering all the “mediocre” comments in the all the reviews, in the camera quality of the Gnex than I expected.

I don’t think it’s the S3. At the very least, if it were, I would be quite disappointed. It doesn’t make sense to launch the S3 with the same GPU as the S2.

I get quad-core is cool even though it will drain battery faster and 8MP over 5MP but the biggest difference is TouchWiz opposed to it being a nexus, and who wants that?
If those are the specs I can’t imagine Verizon would get it. It would be almost the same thing except $100 more then the G-nex which is dropping in price.
I expect to see more out of the SIII then just quad-core.
