The DROID RAZR has started to receive a bit more developer love lately, so we knew it was time to showcase some of the newest work we could find. What we have today is called, Black Widow ICS. It uses AOKP as a starting point, so you know it is going to be filled with options and customizable goodies for your eyes and fingers to play with.

The ROM itself is made to be extremely dark and almost sort of evil looking. But with a name like Black Widow, we would sort of hope for this. You can flash an alternate Google Apps zip file that will turn all of your system apps a very dark color and it will match up with the overall look very well. If you want to give it a go, follow our directions down below.

Instructions for installation:

  1. Download Widow zip file and place in sdcard-ext.
  2. Reboot into Recovery.
  3. Create a Nandroid backup immediately.
  4. Wipe Data/Factory Reset  – mandatory.
  5. Wipe Cache partition.
  6. Wipe Dalvik cache.
  7. Format System.
  8. Install Widow zip.
  9. Flash ROM
  10. Reboot system

If you run into any problems or have any questions, let us know down below and we’ll try to point you in the right direction.
