Funny enough. My biggest selling point for Swiftkey X is the fact that I can add the directional arrows in the settings (still needs those for tablet unfortunately). Those are amazing because I can almost never get the cursor where I need it to be and get annoyed fumbling with trying to get it there. Don’t know why more keyboards don’t do that.

Maybe for you, but not for everyone. The stock 4.0 keyboard sucks on tablets. I prefer thumb keyboard. Swiftkey X is my favorite Android keyboard so far but if could have any keyboard I wanted I would have the reduced QWERTY layout from my BB Storm2. I can type faster on that than I can on any other keyboard, including PC keyboards.

I do see Perfect Keyboard has something similar to my old Storm2….so Im gonna have to give this a try.

compared to stock ics keyboard this one is junk…….for all its bells and whistles it doesn’t auto correct simple typing errors, I.E. any words requiring a space but having a M,N,B,V or C inserted instead of a space. EG goingnto : going to frombme: from me etc etc

FYI, SlideIt is only 99 cents right now…. don’t know if it’s better than Swype or not, though. haven’t tried it.

I’m pretty stuck on SwiftKey… The longer it and I have a relationship, the better it knows me :-P But in all fairness, I’ve never tried this one… if there’s a free trial, maybe I’ll check it out to compare?

Swype for 4.0 is the perfect keyboard. Honestly it’s 80% of the reason I came back over from the 4s. That and 4g.

the stock gnex keyboard..the keys are too small for my fingers.
atleast on swiftkey you can make the keys larger.
