The following is not a perfect solution, but it works for me. I have “App Killer” installed. When I touch the on/off button in the back to turn the Xoom on, the screen lights up and I can see the App Killer button, bottom right. I just click on that, and can go anywhere else I need to go on the Xoom. You don’t have to “kill” the apps to make this happen; just turn on the app.

I have a Xoom wi-fi with android 4.0.3 build IML77. Before 4.0.3 I was able to playback flash video in the browser on my TV through the HDMI cable, now with 4.0.3 I have lost that ability. When trying to playback flash video on the browser in fullscreen, the screen becomes all black and the audio stops.

Also, this issue may not be 100% consistent. If I “force sleep” the device by pushing the power button, then it will wake fine if I promptly push it again. The hard reset seems to be necessary if I let it go to sleep on its own, or I put it to sleep and let it sit for a while. Regardless, it’s a bug that needs to be fixed soon. If not, my only options will be to root and flash another ROM, or get rid of it.

Same problem I have…didn’t ever happen til ICS update. VERY annoying & frustrating, especially when I use my XOOM daily for work. I have to hard reset numerous times throughout the day. How are there not more reports of this issue? It’s definitely a bug with ICS, but I’d expect to see LOTS of complaints as this makes the XOOM nearly unusable. Perhaps it’s an issue with specific model builds?

Received this update yesterday on my Xoom. So far, so good, with one major exception. Motorola’s Bluetooth keyboard fails. Every keystroke is interpreted as a shortcut. Therefore, I cannot search the web, create an email, comment on a post, or do any kind of text entry from the BT keyboard. fortunately, the screen board works. I can find no settings that might change the behavior of the BT board.

Now that I have ICS on my WiFi XOOM, when it sleeps it will not wake witout a Hard Reset.
Any Ideas?

Can anyone give some insight as how to capture images while shooting video? I tried but am not able to do it.. I have also had no luck with the resizable widgets and new gallery format or editor. Did something go wrong here?
