I just received notification of my TP delivery tomorrow and saw this post, so i went to the ASUS website at for VIP escalation issues at http://vip.asus.com/eservice/cus_suggest.aspx , and in a professional manner, told them that i was an early adopter, was about to receive the TP when they made the announcement that they will be upgrading (read: fixing) this tablet with an upgraded one in just a few month's time. That they should give a turn in/upgrade path to those of us that purchased the original TP by turning it in and paying the price difference, otherwise i would be returning to my retailer and looking to purchase from another manufacturer. Hey, they listened on the bootloader issue (unlock still hasn't been released though), maybe with enough complaints and threats of restocking their inventory, they will listen agan.

Hey! I don't know how I missed it last night, but with the (God it kills me to say this) Original Prime does it have a "Developers Options"?
Wow! Thank you for finding and sharing that! I was unable to find anything that good! Luckily I think the revision of the tablet looks cheap compared to the original, so as long as I am able to receive wifi properly home and away, or else with rooted phone present I shall indeed keep the metallic spun Prime. Thanks again!

Hi Ryan : I agree, I had the same experience and returned my pre-order to BB! I am so disappointed about the hype and then to hear all the glitches, I returned mine tonight!

I thing we pre-orders should be compensated and why send something out with so much going wrong

I'm a little frustrated that there has been like no outreach to customers who bought the faulty designed product via pre-order. I mean it was their fault they placed the GPS and WIFI antennas where they put them paired with an all aluminum encasing.. and it also would be completely fine to have an all aluminum backplate if they moved the antennas directly under the front glass like how it was done on the ipod thouch 4. Thats how they got away with an all aluminum backplate with no plasic window! At the end of the day, i love my prime and i think its a beast for the price, however i still feel under-compensated and cheated. I mean they turn around and instead of offering a return or fix, just release a whole new tablet with the fix it should have had to begin with, and for $100 more. We as buyers, especially pre-order-ers, should at least be able to have a discount or at least only have to pay the extra $100 for this tablet in compensation. Just something, anything, IMO.
