Sweet, this works great so far! Just flashed in the latest beta5.img

*** If anyone is using WindowsXP and is having issues with the command prompt, changing the directory, etc….
Just copy “cmd.exe” and paste into your SDK Tools folder and double click to launch (usually located in c:windowssystem*). This will preload the directory to the proper location for you ***

it was actually for the “DROID” branded line of products, not JUST the OG Droid.
Also the Galaxy Nexus (I refuse to call it ‘G-Nex’) is simply the best phone i have ever had the pleasure of owning.

Verizon told me yesterday, Jan 10 – that the baseband should be 1515.10. I had called to complain about bad reception, and I was told the new baseband was meant to fix that. He told me to go into a local Verizon store to force the update. My phone was rooted, so that wasn’t an option. Where do I get 1515.10?

winner’s build has been totally stable for me (except where I have freaked it out, undervolting a little too much, etc)

kejar (half of the liberty team along w/ jrummy) has GummyNex which he bills as a pre-liberty. Ran that for a while and also found it stable. He is not including CM’s notification power widget hence the switch to winner’s build

vicious has a MIUI build, but it will take me a while to get tired of AOSP roms with ICS being totally new. Also, unlike winner and kejar’s roms, the miui build seems to be having problems w/ USB mount/storage.

Im going to flash it i just dont know if i should wait for stable ir just go with alpha

Who else is making roms right now? Ive heard of kang and axiom but thats about it

No, and you shouldn’t either.

Not sure if you are coming from CM7 on the OG Droid, but winner00 who did great work on that is now compiling a CM9 alpha rom for G-Nex.

I’m sure CM9 when officially released will be my daily driver, but G-Nex development now is really exciting, lots of different roms being released almost daily to try. I think when the heavy hitters, CM, MIUI, Liberty, Pete, etc have stable roms a lot of this wild-west like development will calm down.
