No; what VZW screwed up on isn’t the phone.  It’s not even mainly the
“release” (act yet to be seen), though that is part of it.  It’s what
they have done to the name.  The Nexus; It used to mean something,
whether you care about that or not.  Hell, it wasn’t a good idea at when
they started it, and it still isn’t…but it *was* good. (wrap your
head around that one…)

Samsung has done LTE.  So has Verizon. Your point??

You seem to want to view anyone who thinks VZW screwed this up as
“Entitled”, regardless of the fact that this isn’t the first Nexus
device, nor the first time either party has done LTE. (…and apparently ignoring VZW’s recent clusterfucking of the TB and Bionic releases…)

I may be tilting at windmills with my idealism re: the Nexus brand, but I am *far* from entitled. 

..and who knows, maybe my wrath at VZW over this *is* misplaced…but I sure as hell don’t see any evidence to the contrary at this point…and I haven’t seen you provide any.

Right…the carrier…and not releasing the phone is but one of the expectations  they have not been able to meet.

This ain’t the Nexus brand’s first trip ’round the block.

So no, I do not think it is absurd to “blame the carrier”.  We’ve done this before..with the same expectations.

And yes we are frustrated by what’s happened, and allowed our own opinions and theories but concretely blaming someone or immediately running to Verizon want’s the screw the Nexus is a bit extreme. The phone’s received 4 updates, 3 for the Radio files since it’s first ‘supposed’ release date. Clearly, it wasn’t ready. C’est La Vie.
