Well this is no surprise, i thought it to soon to cut off flash just like that. Hopefully by the time flash is dead and gone on mobile,HTML5 will have covered whats left of the web.I can live with out flash on my phone, i do so little web browsing with it but i still want it for my tab so i can browse the web just like i do on my PC.

You have to remember though Apple’s iOS market share is only 15% give or take in the overall mobile OS world and only 10% of the laptop/desktop computing market. Adobe still has Linux and Windows to support the other 90% of the laptop/pc consumers and as for smartphones 52.5% of Android users. I’m not saying you are wrong but rather looking at the bigger picture in that, yes Apple may be popular in today’s pop culture but overall they still lack the market dominance to make a company like Adobe make their decisions based around them. Also this recession of the mobile development could be completely an engineering feat. They are having issues with flash running smoothly on these mobile platforms so perhaps instead of continuing to dump money into R&D they are going to cut their losses and see what happens with HTML5 in the mobile computing environment. Again just my opinion.

Too bad there’s no phone out that it can go to,huh. Lots of nothin’ goin on. And agreed about going to HTML5. Forget flash already. Adobe has its head in its — concerning it. It’s too big, doesn’t work half the time.
