uum all those phones came to other carriers. Maybe not here in the US but don’t blame that on verizon blame that on the manufacturer or your carrier. The playstation phone also is on at&t too.

Gah, I just commented on this in the Droid 4 article. Why the hell does everyone do this Carrier Exclusive BS. Learn from the Galaxy S, having it on every carrier is the best way to make money and build a Brand Name. The iPhone is on almost every carrier now and they are going to up productivity because they dont have multiple hardware designs for all the different carriers. Less designs means more profit. Different designs for all of the carriers makes each design more expensive to produce. I’m not a genius, or a CEO and I understand this.

Besides I dont understand how Verizon gets ALL the newest exclusives. They had the Droid series, then the Droid X series, the Playstation Phone, then the Bionic. Now they have the Razr, Milestone 4, and now the Nexus Prime all exclusive? WTF man. This is getting out of hand. I guess the other three carriers all got Galaxy S2′s where Verizon passed up on that. Oh well, maybe it is time to get that Epic 4G Touch…

Maybe If this was a touchwiz less galaxy s2 or hercules I’d jump ship but it’s not and there’s no use bitchin. I’d be much more inclined to get the Rezound or RAZR with the hope of a future upgrade or stay with Att and get the htc Holiday. Adieu ICS till next year

I, for one, am grateful for Apple fanboys, if for no other reason that I believe that competition is good for us, the consumer.

The fact that the iPhone continues to sell so well is motivation – for Google, Samsung, Motorola, HTC, etc. And these companies being motivated to deliver quality products is good for us as consumers.

In fact, I would go so far as to argue that the stranglehold that Apple has on its market is the reason its customers got the iPhone4S, as opposed to t he iPhone5 this fall. Why introduce something revolutionary when you can make just as much money by iterating? No competition = little incentive.

Couple that with a mostly ignorant consumer base, and you’ve got a highly successful model for sales, even if the rest of your platform is… well, less desirable to the informed.

i think every carrier will get the GS3 across the board..
verizon’s exclucivity on the nexus is only temporary. it’ll take about a month for it to hit other carers.
