Actually the Droid X did sell out at Verizon. I had to wait a few days to get one.

But your logic is incorrect. While android phones generally do not sale out you have more choices to choose from. To have 3 big name android phones released on the same day on the same carrier is a win win for Verizon and the consumer. Plus Androids piece of the pie just got bigger.

I feel bad for people who buy a phone the second it goes on sale without using it themselves first or waiting to read reviews / actually see if it’s a phone worth buying. The newest isn’t always the best, as people that read this blog should know. Ask anyone with a Thunderbolt…

I don’t feel bad because I told people not to buy it on these forums and many others. We all knew that Samsung and HTC were going to release 2 monster phones. Motorola actually surprised me with the Razr but I don’t rank above Nexus and Vigor.

I see the droid razr as a throw away with the sealed unit the customer will be a very unhappy camper when the sealed batter  no longer holds a charge.  Yes if there is a warranty motorola will offer a replacement, but rest asure it will not be a droid RAZR Why?   remember the units are sealed so you will not be offered a refurbished droid razr but a refurbished droid bionic or one of the older droid units.  One can almost be guaranteed motorola / verizon will not give you a six hundred dollar phone as a replacement.

I would.  Galaxy Nexus lacks expandable storage and the RAZR lacks a removable battery. I consider both features must-haves since my smartphone is my primary “everything” and I need as much battery life and storage capacity as possible.  I would take a Bionic for “free” on contract over a $299 RAZR or $299 G-Nex. 

If that isn’t the 32gb version, I will no longer be able to justify buying on launch day. That would be an absolutely ludicrous pricing move by Verizon.

I wish I could like this an infinite number of times. I suppose if I clear my cookies & all the crap I could but, not going to go through all that like Mc D.B. does. I would say b/c you can comment without having to be a member of Disqus. I do wish Kellex would change security (if he can) to only allow comments from registered members of Disqus. That way it might slow down the B.S. comments.
