If the phone itself is doing all the processing and whatnot, then the “tablet” that it docks into would only have to be nothing more than a screen. Much like the new wii u controller. When you transfer the game you’re playing onto that controller/screen, the actual game processing is still taking place in the console and being streamed to it.

I agree with Justin. If the graphic was meant for anything it would most likely be the idea of the tablet OS and phone OS merging and the first time we will see that will be in the Prime. Could represent a tablet but I wouldn’t bet its anything more than just a representation of one. Far too thin imo for a tablet. I’ve been surprised before though and as thin as Samsung makes devices, if all the processing power would come from the phone then there isn’t much reason the sides had to be much thicker just to house a large curved screen.

My thoughts exactly, i think the person that “assumed” is just reading between the lines on this, the graphics in the video make it a silhouette on purpose and that curve on the ends could very well be there just to hide the rest of the graphics or just there to make the complete “eclipse” look seeing how this will match up nicely for a galaxy name

Yeah, this is probably it, BUT Samsung and Google have been together (Nexus S) and the ad seems to be suggesting something new. This a long with the idea that ICS is merging Honeycomb and Gingerbread at least partially keeps this dream alive for me

Portrait dock? I believe the Nexus One’s desk dock was portrait but I could be wrong on that.
