I don’t receive any random reboots, but yes, the music skipping needs fixing.  Actually, when I first received my X2, it suffered from about 6-7 reboots just using the phone normally (watching YouTube videos, Facebook, games, etc.).  Seems the silicon needed conditioning as it wouldn’t run at 1.0GHz for long.  That corrected itself within a week.  If yours is rebooting often, I’d suggest a warranty claim through Motorola (or if you want a refurbished phone, through Verizon).
