This is great news! I don’t know much about Pantech but as long as they are making a quality phone that works, then I like it. This is what needs to happen for 4g to catch on. Without low priced phones, no ones mother is going to upgrade to 4g. I hope to see more of these offerings this year.

Solid. Not going to argue with this. Not for techies, but it’s hard to justify a Revolution over this. (Charge still has that beautiful SAMOLED screen, and Thunderbolt has the dev community). A solid pickup.

$99 on contract and $360 off contract? If it’s easy to root and put custom roms on, this might be a great phone for cheap LTE and someone who doesn’t need all power of all the new dual-core phones. The 1Ghz Snapdragon is still plenty powerful for lots of stuff one can do on a smartphone.

No one is making a phone for $99. The phone cost closer to $200 to manufacturer. The money is in two years of high cell service rates.

300 is high yes but the specs of the bionic make it worth 200 if not 250. I wish they were cheaper but they aren’t so you pay to play.

I was thinking the same thing about the battery. This practically unknown brand would make a phone with the best LTE battery life lol.

its right in the middle. smaller than a thunderbolt and bigger that the incredible 1. i happened to like the performance of the HTC phones. I dont know much about the Pantech line. The funny thing is watch, this will be the phone with the BEST battery life on the 4G line up.

I know. I saw the Droid 3 at radio shack for $99 also. It may be a 3g only phone but its dual core with a slideout keyboard

If they can make this phone for $99 there is absolutely no reason why we should be paying $300 for other LTE devices.
