I found a link to the R2-D2 specific sbf on droid forums yesterday and used it on my phone and it does work…

All I could find is the Droid2 SBF and it won’t flash onto my phone. Is there anyone with an R2-D2 SBF? Or does anyone have the file for Gingerbread so I can force-update it.

I wish I hadn’t updated , but it was nagging me eery hour. It changed the status bar to blue, the kaypad of the dialer to ugly blue square buttons and it seems everything that used to be a shade of gray before it’s now some shade of blue. I don’t enjoy looking at it any more. I’ll have to figure out if there is a way to revert back to the old version

Kellex… Please, please, tell me you know where i can grab this update and manually apply it in the stock recovery.
I went through all the trouble of reverting to my stock nandroid, removing all traces or root, then unrooting. When I got the notification for the update the download failed. Now I cant get it to retry the update.

If someone out there was able to pull the update before applying it, please post it somewhere.

I want to express my appreciation to this writer for bailing me out of this situation. Because of looking throughout the search engines and obtaining proposals which are not productive, I was thinking my entire life was over.
